Any know what the deal is with this place? Seems like a decent place to have a drink but there is never anyone there but the same 5-6 people (I pass by everyday on the way home) There is a sign on the door that reads: Ring bell. Strange...

I wonder myself. I think you might have to speak in Albanian after you ring the bell.Looks more like an Albanian "social club".

There was a "real" Albanian restaurant there a few years ago, then it closed.I keep hearing that another "real " restaurant is going to open but that hasn't happened. I heard a rumor that there was a liquor license problem so maybe that has something to do with it.

Thanks bluedog, and yeah the guys I usually see there seem like some characters out of the movie casino! So the "social club" thing would make sense. I'm hoping they're just waiting on the liquor license and soon I can stop by and have a few before going home.

Default Bronx Beer Gardens & craft brewerys

Hey BD2 - (and anyone else in Pelham) are there any beer gardens that are in the area of Pelham Parkway? Before the baby we used to go out to places that had micro brews and served food - but now that we are moving, we will have access to a sitter, and will probably be looking for a place to call our "spot" I yelped the area and no craft beer places came up - I just read in the post
Bronx cheers! - NYPOST.com

a craft brewery may be calling the Bx its new home.
Any places you guys like to go for grub, and are there any ethnic restaurants (Indian/Japanese/Ethiopian/Pakistani/German) in the vicinity?

Hello everyone.. I came across this post and would like to update. Everyone on DRINI bar!! I am the owner of the place and wanted to inform everyone that its not just for albanians! The purpose of this reastaurant was that w e can have our local neighbors enjoy a near by reastaurant and Bar for people to hang out and. Relax after a long. Day of work, also so that people. Wouldn't have to travel far after a long hard working day. Unfortunatley. The building owners that r ented out the space did not make it known that the building itself has. Violations that is affecting the liquor license process! We are working very hard at trying to get this place open for our local neighbors. I hope I answered all your. Questions and I look forward to seeing you all in the place soon! As far as the people are concerned that go into the place are Family member and friends.. We are not open to the public yet and we will be soon!!!! Thank you all
