IF you're bored. Volunteer and help someone in need, but don't waste peoples time and use this site as a joke.

Just for my edification, what is an 'ebt' card? Thanks.
@EVERYONE
It is my suggestion that the originator of this thread be boycotted. Simply don't respond to this poster now or in the future. Do not feed the troll.
Confirmation?

An ebt card is an electronic benefits card. It's how the govenment gets your food stamps to you. It's just like a debit card, only it links to an account the govenerment fills up with your monthly benefits.

I was at the post office today, using their electronic vending machine to get stamps. the machine gave the options of credit card or EBT card to pay. You can buy stamps wtih an EBT card? I thought that was so strange.

I used google translate to go from Troll to English and this is what it said,
Dear Moderator, I am a troll. I admit I am a troll and I know it is unusual to be a troll and actually admit troll behavior (to admit I come online and say stupid, aggravating, pathetic, dishonest things just to get a rise out of people).
Anyway, in the end, I am a troll and I can't help myself because I have no life. So please ban my account as I know trolls are not allowed on here.
Thanks. Younglove.

I know what you mean, but I can see why you can. People need to mail their bills so it's an encouragement to do so in a way.

People need toilet paper too, but that is not EBT eligible. I would prioritize that and diapers over stamps.
And now all libraries have computers where you could pay your bills online for free anyway

Oh, thanks. Gladly ignorant of such things. I wonder why people speak of these things as if everyone knows what they are talking about.
Better than those little red 'stamps' and the plastic coins.
I've seen some people using them at the supermarket. Once an old woman appeared as if she'd cry, because I guess there was no money/credit on the card. Kept asking the cashier to try again and again. The cashier was very patient, and just kept swiping each time she requested. People on line started getting antsy. I just watched the women, obviously not a typical welfare person, just an old woman in her declining years trying to get by. Too many of those here in Astoria. Worked their entire lives, now retired with nothing, dependant on Social Security and an inacequate pension.
I told the cashier to stop. I got it. Paid for the women's meager items and wished her a good day. There, but for the grace of G-d....
Hmmm, wonder if she had a Snickers bar among here items.....
