I've noticed that it is never called Bronx alone like the other boroughs. Is there a history behind it?

I remember in GTA IV, they renamed The Bronx to Bohan, which is Dutch word for Dutch word.

Yeah I was really dissappointed with how the Bronx was represented in that game. Where's Yankee Stadium, or The Bronx Zoo, or Riverdale, or any of the other landmarks in the borough?

Gotta admit the first time I drove there in that game really sent a shiver down my spine, it really did feel/look like The Bronx. It didn't help that the first time I went there was when it was dark and raining [in the game].
