Only Zone A and parts of Zone B (that have to go through Zone A) were ordered to evacuate as far as I know. However, If you feel like evacuating, do it tonight, since all mass transit will be shut down tomorrow morning.

No only zone A as far as I know. I'm in zone c too and only if it was a cat 4 or 5 we would have to evacuate, I think.

I'm also in Zone C and I am just going to my friends. Thought it would be better to have some company for the storm.

Thanks for the replies! We have a few pets including one kinda old and sick (but awesome) cat... I really very much do not want to move them unless it is very necessary. We also don't have an easy option place to go to...

I am in zone C as well although I am not far from Coney Island. I am confident I will be safe in my building.
Times like these I am glad I live in a prewar and not a matchbox stick new construction.

Default Zone C

The mayor said that only Zone A and the Rockaways would be mandatory. Good Luck to you and your kitty.

Zone C isn't evacuating. You should be OK. Of course, leave if you are nervous. You can get info here and there is a link where you can put in your address and see your zone. Keep in mind that these sites are getting VERY busy and may have trouble loading.
