Good karaoke bars in Manhattan? Or Long Island (Hicksville: live in, pay)

Hi, I am looking for a good karaoke bar in Manhattan or LI is ok. There are some places I used to go none of which are open anymore. I am not looking for a private room or a place you have to pay hourly or a sit down fee. Just a cool laid back but FUN place to get some food, some drinks, sing songs, be silly and chill at the same time...do you know of any??? I live in Hicksville but am planning to go into the city. As long as I can find a good place!!
