Nah my bad I ment to say growing hispanic pooulation west of white plains road. I know a super who manages a couple of tenements in that area and he always talk about mexicans and there huge familes and dominicans on section8, both groups represent the majority renters on that block, but yeah generally the area is black.

Yes, but that does not make it acceptable.

Alright, but even so, Harlem and Washington Heights aren't that racially segregated. There are a decent number of Whites in those neighborhoods.

Yeah but both the whites and the minorities live in two seperate worlds in that neigborhood. Example Broadway divides Washington Heights from the drugs, poverty, hustling, loud merengue bachata playing cars from the glitz and glam doorman building jewish owned coops.

It's such a horrible area. The precinct had the most murders (23) in the entire Bronx last year, and it was 3rd in the city.

The overall violent crime rate isn't south Bronx levels, and the poverty rate is also less, but they are trigger happy up there. Alot of gun play due to the heavy drug trade around White Plains Road. There are actually some decent residents who call the northeast Bronx home, unfortunately, the bad apples make it an undesirable place to live.

There are still a noticeable number of Whites living east of Broadway, though.

In any case, you mentioned Harlem, which we all know has a noticeable White population as well. The only one where you are correct is Mott Haven.
