Default Random Question - Pier 1 Imports

I went on the Pier 1 website to see exactly where their NYC locations are, but it says there aren't any.

I swear there was one on the UES, and one near Union Square. Does anyone know if they have closed?? I need some new lamps!!

UES store around E. 87th shut their doors early this Summer.

Worst going out of business sale ever...busted junk for 30% off. People actually bought cracked mirrors?????

For lamps, go to the lamp district! Well, it's a collection of lamp stores, along Chrystie Street.

Another suggestion would be Pearl River Mart in SoHo, which has some unique lamps and other home goods.

I was at the Pier 1 on 5th ave between 14th and 15th not long ago. Did they shut down? I thought it was still there.

Lamps, try Crate and Barrel or Pottery Barn as well.

Ew, why would you go to Pier 1, Crate & Barrel, or Pottery Barn when you have all those local stores on Bowery Street and Chrystie Street in the Lower East Side!

Pier 1 just has over priced merchandise.

I never cared for the chain either. Wicker is the silliest furniture material and they have too much of it.

The one in Union Square is undergoing renovation and will reopen soon--at least according to the sign they had up.

I wouldn't bank on their reopening. So often CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS simply means CLOSED!
