Bronxguyanese, I always appreciate your posts around here. That said, for the love of everything sacred, please try and use paragraphs or some kind of spacing on long posts.

Sure, and there are some big earners who contribute to causes such as this. I don't feel that the fight is really about money, but the mindset that creates an atmosphere of cheating others to get mine, of lying and rigging the system. The mindset is wrong that is willing to hurt others for my own profit.

I'm understanding this is about the "99%" and all that. However, every single day, it seems they come up with a new "thing". Last week, it was about all the wars. Yesterday, it was about police brutality...... They're not being taken seriously because they can't get their act together, can't get real leadership, and (as others have said), they come off as a bunch of spoiled upper middle class and rich kids who, once the weather turns, will be running home to their parents in Westchester or the UES.

Protesters in Chicago try to set up camp again:

130 arrested as ‘Occupy Chicago’ tries to take Grant Park | The Raw Story

To the poster above, "new thing"? This isn't a scripted TV show, people have many different complaints. There are people down there since day 1 that have been pushing ending these wars.

The mainstream media tries to make it seem like its a rowdy unorganized mob who shout things impulsively. Everything you just posted could be bullet points from FOX or CNN about this story. It is the exact stereotype being pushed to discredit this celebration of civil liberties. This is good an example of how the corporations that own media outlets do not promote stories that could hurt business.

I'm sorry for the people that expect this to be broken down into a top ten list, but the park is about sharing your thoughts and freedom of expression - everybody has something different to say.

What is this $5500 laptop diversion? Have they come out with some core i-419 processor operating at 125,000 Ghz? and using 10 terabytes of storage?
I'll bet you can type REALLY fast on it.

Silly red herring.

Nobody has a $5500 laptop unless it is in a case made of gold and the owner is a moron...or a liar.

And those who would jump on the fact are jackasses.

So it is wise to despise the OWS movement if you are in the top 1%. If you are in the 99% and despising the movement you are a fool... or a paid shill just making silly noises.
