The Occupy Wall Street movement is not wearing well with voters across the country. Only 33% now say that they are supportive of its goals, compared to 45% who say they oppose them. That represents an 11 point shift in the wrong direction for the movement's support compared to a month ago when 35% of voters said they supported it and 36% were opposed. Most notably independents have gone from supporting Occupy Wall Street's goals 39/34, to opposing them 34/42.
Don't worry. When they occupy the subway tomorrow, they'll change people's minds. Nothing makes people support a cause more than having people scream at them when they're trying to commute.

Is this true? I've got somewhere really important to get to tomorrow and I swear to god if I can't get there easily I'm liable to smash some B.O. stankin loud mouth upside the dome piece...

I wish it weren't true since I have multiple places to go to during the afternoon, some of which include the stations they're targeting .

Ok, takeover of a private park is one thing -- and you are lucky you weren't tossed out sooner. But a public transportation system? In NYC? The Subway? If you really want to create chaos ( anarchy of sorts, nothing I personally think accomplishes a darn thing), why aren't the protesters going fulll tilt into idiocy and protest at the bus stations, the tunnels and bridges and airports as well? You'd get lots of support with that. I don't think the populace would take kindly to it. I am sure even the Mayor wouldn't if he had no people coming in and out of the city.
I figure commuters will give you more grief on the subways than you have ever had on Wall St.

will they give up their seats to the elderly, disabled or pregnant when they occupy the subway.
