Hi my family and I are moving to a 2 bedroom apartment in the River Hill Gardens apartment complex on Sedgwick ave in the bronx, just behind Bronx Community College. The apartment is completely renovated, fresh paint, very very clean, and everything. My wife and I viewed it on a few occasions in the daytime hours and haven't seen any cockroach or mice issues.
I just want to make sure though. I can't seem to find any reviews about River Hill Gardens anywhere on the internet though so I'm posting here. I had asked the leasing office if I could fumigate/bomb the place for roaches just as a precaution and she said "That's not a problem, you can bomb it if you want, but there's no roaches there".
So does anyone have anything good or bad to say about this place?
Did you move in? Have you had any pest problems? How is the neighborhood? I was looking at the building and also couldn't find reviews, so if you have any updates, I would love to hear!
New York City including Manhattan is known as Bed Bug City. They don't advertise this in tourist books. The amount of visitors, tourists, and immigrants passing through gives the city the nick name Bed Bug City or Roach City.
I wouldn't live on that block! Got famz on that block. #not safe at all
