Bed & Breakfast/honeymoon suggestions?
My g/f and I are getting married in may/june of next year and are thinking about honeymooning in NYC. Can anyone suggest a nice (lesbian-friendly) bed and breakfast to stay in?
We just moved to buffalo from orlando at the begging of this year so i don't even know where to begin as far as looking at places to stay in NYC. Can you suggest an artsy/odd -yet safe neighborhood?
Thanks in advance!

I don't know of many b&b's in the city, but you may want to search for one in Park Slope as it is the most lesbian-friendly of neighborhoods in the city. You can also check in Chelsea, but it's more young gay male tourist these days.
Congrats! I hope there will be more resources now that we have marriage equality in NY.

There are a couple of bed and breakfasts in Park Slope, and one that my relatives who live in PS recommend to their out-of-town guests who don't want to live in the toddler-land that is their house, is adjacent to Prospect Park. There are a few B&Bs in the neighborhood, many in renovated brownstones, which are very nice when compared with hotel rooms in Manhattan at similar rates.
I hope that you enjoy your trip.

Look into the CHELSEA PINES on 14th Near Eighth and also there is a charming very gay Hotel/B&B on the North Side of Twenty-third a half block either East or West of SEVENTH AVE. I cannot remember the name though.
If you stick anywhere between Seventh Avenue and Tenth Avenue, between 14th and 23rd, you won't go far wrong. Any place NOT gay friendly would have been driven out of business long ago.
