^^^^^^^^ Thanks for the reply, but if I were to drive it via the Queensboro Bridge, how long would it take with traffic in the morning and back in the evening?

Yea except the answer I was looking for to "how long does it take to drive from Rego Park to SoHo via the Queensboro Bridge in morning/evening rush traffic" wasn't exactly "go on the train" I already know about the train.

I know right. Well, feel free to keep posting it over and over till you find a good answer, I don't care.

Hahaha thanks. I asked it in my Rego Park thread too but it didn't get an answer so since your thread is just kind of general Queens stuff I figured I'd throw it in there

Is it worth paying more to live in Queens rather than Staten Island? The minimum I see for Queens apts I like is $1100, while SI got some places for $800-900. I know tolls and express buses might add to that, but it still most likely will end up less.

Also-
How difficult will it be to find a parking spot on a daily basis if I get a place in Queens in a neighborhood that is less dense and less crowded? Is alternate side parking a big issue? Seems like constantly having to move my car for cleaning is a major annoyance.

We have street cleaning and it really isnt that terrible. Monday's and Tuesday's. Sunday make sure your car is on the Tuesday side, Monday look for Monday parking. Depends on how much you are home. 8:30 to 10 is ours. There is 11 am parking too on some streets. Or pay the 200 something for a parking garage.

It's not like you are constantly moving your car and having problems. But it depends on the area. The more houses the better, they usually have more spots out front. The Co-ops tend to be worse because they really have a lot of people that need spots.

Or instead of asking over and over and over again, you could 1. Drive the route during that time to get first hand knowledge 2. Put in the info during that time on Google maps. It shows how long it takes with traffic roughly.

Better then asking the same question in every area of this site.
