I don't work for The Cheese Factory, but you're in training (there is always a learning curve). Take a deep breath and ask TONS of questions of the people training you/they have the experience and once were a newbie as well.

You have to get good at memorization; using a technique. Like:
  1. Use a computer (you could write them, but computer is faster!) and type the various cakes, coffees, etc.....print the list(s) out.
  2. Take your printed notes and eliminate all distraction/noise, etc...
  3. Look at the first list (coffees for example) and read it out loud. Then, close your eyes and recite the list without looking at it.
  4. Repeat the step above, this time with the first 2 lists (not sure how you will want to break this down, but you get the gist I hope).
  5. Next, try it with 3 lists. Then 4. Repeat until you have memorized every list in your notes.
It may or may not work, but it's worth a try!!!

Good luck!

P.S. I had to learn my multiplications/states) as a kid and a memorization technique is what "saved the day". ahahaha

huge menu- but it never changes.
just give it time and you'll get there relatively soon.

is this for the new yonkers location?
lemme know when they're testing customers.
a good op. for service training and free food.

yes it is! yay someone knows about it, but it's just so hard i mean the plating certain cheesecakes get different plates and designs, it's just sooo stressful and what scares me the most is i hear they have secret shoppers who come in to test you to see how you took care of them, but i will definitely let you know. i know they open on the 20th but i'm sure you can come in and speak to a manager the manager's name is augustine he will probably make you fill out some papers to become a food taster
