great pics, i love rough winter!!everything has a special feel when you walk outside, i've always had great memories of winter time...

That surely is a beautiful winter scene. Makes me even more so anxious to start living there.
Where I grew up, Calgary Canada, we had so many of those, but the downfall is that in NY, they are no where near as cold as ours were. I think that the average, not the all-time low, but just the daily average temp in winter was -22F. Pretty cold huh.

Nice pics, but when you have to drive/schlep in it it SUCKS! ahaha Not to mention when it becomes slush and dirty. YUCK!

Driving in snow's not bad at all if you grow up where snow is normal and you know how to drive. Which thinking about it now, lots of people can't drive correctly in perfect conditions...

be happy you're in a position to do so. I work in a hospital and you should come and vist the cancer ward. You'll won't be complaining about driving after your visit!

Snow looks nice when it first falls its when it gets slushy and grey that it becomes an eyesore.

yeah, that's how I like it.

That's good weather for making baked goods. It looks like someone is pulling thier gifts home in the snow.
