Is there anywhere to have breakfast on a Sunday morning (near Central Park West) with my puppy? I'm meeting up some out-of-town friends and would like to bring my 6 pound lil' pup because she loves going for walks and I feel pretty guilty not taking her out for most of the week because I'm working 70+ hours!

Any ideas? I was thinking of some kind of outside bistro area, but I just want to be sure before I go and will be making some calls because I'd hate to come with her and be told I'm not even allowed to sit outside with her.

You can eat inside the park. Just bring your breakfast, sit on a park bench, and enjoy it with your puppy.

My friend and 4 other guests are going to be there. I'm not going to make them eat inside the park lol.

I would like to sit down somewhere with them. I've seen lots of rich ladies with small pooches walking around everywhere..surely there must be somewhere..........

Central Park is HUGE.
So Eastside, Westside, Southside or Harlem would be helpful info.

If you are joining 5 others, 4 of them strangers, believe me, they would all be happier if you left adorable little FIDO at home.

Is it a possibility for you to have your dog walked 1 or 2x a day while you're working?

If I was one of those friends, I would also prefer you leave the doggie home. I have a friend that brings their dog everywhere and it's so annoying. No offense. But maybe your friends are excited to see your dog.

But anyway, there are a lot of restaurants near the park that have sidewalk seating. Usually if you keep the dog outside the restaurant enclosure, they are fine and the restaurant won't have an issue.

There are places like the Boat Basin that welcome dogs because they are really an outdoor restaurant, and they even provide water bowls for your table for the dog.
