Alas, they have stuck one of the cities major amenities, THE THEATER, smoosh into the middle of the Madame Toussaud's type Disneyland.

And a lot of the better OFF-BROADWAY houses are on 42nd St. (Theater Row.)

So for theater lovers like me and mine there is no alternative to the milling throngs.

You have that backwards - they stuck Disneyland into the middle of the Theater District.

Yep,

That's a better way of putting it. They wrecked the theater district.

Why didn't they build Disneyland North somewhere around the Atlantic Yards, or the South Bronx?

Once this summer I was forced to go through the Times Square area and I usually avoid it. Something caused me just stop for a second and take a picture.

I took a picture of tourists taking pictures of the giant monitor that was taking videos of them. The monitor was filming me taking the picture of people taking pictures of their images taking pictures.

It was perfect. It was the fractal or Inception of surveillance and self-regard.

Or just an annoying place to walk if you are in a hurry.
