Hello everyone, I just wanted to remind you that there are only 38 days to the NYC Skate Marathon & NY 100K, we just want to remind you that registration costs are going up once again on august 30th, also we wanted to remind you that if you register before that date you will get a free limited edition wind breaker jacket.

*NOTE: THE JACKET WILL BE GIVEN TO EVERYONE THAT REGISTERS BEFORE AUGUST 30TH, REGARDLESS OF AGE, DIVISION AND/OR DISTANCE!!!

This year we will bring back the King Of The Mountain event sponsored by K2 skates, this event is only for the pro ranked skaters skating the 100K (pro elite, pro masters & pro veteran). After the second lap (and stopping in lap 12) points will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd at the top of the hill, the person with the most points will be the wearer of the King Of The Mountain Jersey, awards will be presented to 2nd and 3rd as well.

We are having a "Green Jersey" competition Sponsored by North Eastern Skate Supply,this event is only for the pro ranked skaters skating the 100K (pro elite, pro masters & pro veteran). this competition is the sprinters competition, every lap after the second lap(and stopping in lap 10) points will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd people that cross the finish line, the winner of the competition will be awarded the Green Sprinters Jersey, (please note that in order for the winner to collect the prize, they have to still finish the 100K race, no matter how far behind they are)

This year for the first time we will present the "white Jersey" to the best ranked skater on the 100K pro ranks.
To be qualify for this award, you must be under the age of 17 on January 1st. 2007, as well as skate the 100K ultra marathon distance.
Depending on entries we will offer 2nd and 3rd place awards as well.

This year Cado Motus has sponsored the medal awards to all the recreational and advanced categories.
