Fred, probably true, though it shows how silly such things are. I grew up Brooklyn and Brooklyn can be a FAR nicer, friendlier, quieter, more relaxed, and generally homier place to live than most of what I saw in Manhattan. And given NY's subway system the travel difference is almost nothing.
