If this time you meet the income requirements and you wouldn't mind living there which you shouldnt bc its a block away from St. anns which is the building you originally wanted. just go for it especially since its hard to get an interview and you got one...it can't hurt you.

I was just told that the director of Via Verde Applications accepted me and they are now sending my information to the city. I should get a call in the next week or two to see if I am accepted by the city. My worker said it looks pretty good but you never know.. Keeping fingers crossed!!

I have an appt for my interview process for Via Verde on 4/4
I'm not sure if I can go because I just had an interview for St. Ann's apts 1 week ago and my paperwork has been submitted into the city for that development! Does anyone know if that would be an issue? I really wanted to get Via Verde but my lease is up @ the end of April and I'm reading expected move in dates for Via Verde are for June! Congrats to everyone accepted into Via Verde so far & all those buying!

@TwinMami07 congrtats thus far on your St. Ann's process.. The only thing I can think of is to continue with the Via Verde process until it is offical you get into St. Ann's. Then contact Via Verde to decline once you sign your lease. Until then, anything can happen so might as well have a back up plan.. Good luck!!!

@TwinMami07- No. I was not approved on the spot. It took about a month and a half from my initial interview to get a phone call that I was approved and having my documents sent to HPD. But my example is not ideal because I had to go back and forth for about two weeks to get all of my documents in after the second interview because I couldn't get off work.. So hopefully, it would be a faster process for you.

I had all of my documents for the first interview but they will requested more documentation during the first interview. So I'm sure as long as you return the new documents they request, it should go smoothly.. Also, my log number is under 20 so that is why I was called in for an interview so long ago. But yes, keep posted and good luck!
