Maybe he was just trying to be friendly? This city can be really tough and alienating, you know? Ha ha ha ha

The endless moisturizing of the neck, jawline and back of the neck--and scalp massaging--is the worst, though. Her elbows are everywhere.

This stuff is just inappropriate to be doing not only in public, but in a small space like a subway seat that you're sharing with someone else. Not to mention that she's eating and drinking at the same time, and leaving her trash under the seat.

I'm actually impressed at all the multitasking that you describe her as doing. Making up her face, eating, drinking, staring around like a druggie. That's a lotta things to handle!

She sounds like she should join the circus being able to do all this at the same time LOL.

Because the holidays will be here before we know it, I forgot this:

The people who feel the need to carry more bags than they can handle and think they deserve a seat because of it. I wasn't aware that your shopping expedition consisting of more bags than a Chinatown street vendor should automatically entitle you to a seat. No one told you to overwhelm yourself.

People are getting a little ridiculous with the eating on the trains/bus. It seems like it happens way more now, and on crowded trains/buses no less. Don't get me wrong, I'm guilty of eating an occasional sandwich on the train but one thing is a sandwich yet another are the smorgasbords I see people eating...

One afternoon last holiday season, I was on a #2 train on the Upper West Side. A woman got on the train with the usual overload of holiday packages. She got a seat next to a man, and the moment she sat down, she started squirming and fidgeting.

Suddenly, the man turned towards her and said, "If you think I'm gonna make room for your packages on this seat, you're very wrong!" The woman blushed--it seemed that the man made a very accurate guess as to her intentions.

A few days ago an elderly Spanish man got on the train and sat in front of me and starting whacking off.... In the middle of doing it he purposely tried to get my attention.... I was so shocked this was happening that I just had to ignore the guy. What I should have done was gotten up and sat somewhere else....never in my 30+ years of living in NYC has this ever happen to me.

That definitely had to be staged. Isn't it extremely coincidental that she just happens to be carrying a sponge and a gallon of water!
