I'm shocked at how difficult it is to find a decent--or any--tanning salon in NYC, namely lower Manhattan, South Bronx, and Downtown Brooklyn. Is this some sort of phenomenon, or am I missing something? The ones that appear in a Google search tend not to exist anymore. Money is not an object; just cleanliness and proximity. Please help

Perhaps a trip to New Jersey might help. Its also difficult to find showrooms selling Hummers here, and fake-marble lions for the entry gate are simply impossible to get.

You're suprised there are no tanning salons in the South Bronx?
Talk a walk in the Sun for 40 minutes or more a day if you can.

It's by brighton beach, the address is like 2685 Coney Island AVE, i got the monthly which is only 20$ a month, and wen i get sprays i dont turn orange i get a nice bronze color. its awesome i love it

On a serious note, I've seen TONS of tanning salons around. If fact, I always past by one in particular on W 4th & 7th Ave. on the second floor with the words "TANNING SALON" flashing above the Bank of America.
