Is there somewhere to get a map of central park?

If at Natural history museum and want to go to the zoo...are there signs to navigate once in the park?

There are good maps posted all around the park with a nice red arrow sating YOU ARE HERE.

From the Natural History Museum just go into the Park entrance accross the Street (79th) and bear sort of SouthWest to get close to the zoo on the other side.
You'll have no trouble.

This will give you a rough idea to start:

That's atleast a 1 mile+ walk between the two places. I believe the zoo is actually SouthEast of the natural history museum. Museum is on West side, zoo is on East side by Apple Store.

You can navigate your streets in Central Park by looking at the light poles. If you look closely, you should see four numbers. The first two numbers is the street you are currently on.

Here's the official site, which includes maps.

The Official Website of Central Park - Homepage

You can also pick up a paper map of Central Park at a kiosk at the southwestern corner of the park.
