Depends what coverage you decide to choose.. So yes and no...

Quick Q if you decide to work a Chart/Holiday do you still get the comp hours and the 1 1/2 times pay for working.?

Maybe they will just call the people who didnt get hired in november, who already went to pre orientation and passed their medical. They sent out notices up to 1900.

If you work your chart you get paid double time and do not get any hours.
If you work a holiday you get paid for the day and time and 1/2 for working the holiday and do not get any hours. Basically double time an 1/2.
If your chart falls on a holiday and you work, you get both the 8 hours comp time and time and 1/2 pay.

I believe this is correct.
All correct except for if your chart is a holiday and you work you DO lose your comp time. What happens is your chart will be moved to the following day. Which you will end up working anyway at a double time rate. Being that all charts are routinely cancelled the day after a holiday.
