Congrats. Pay attention to what the guy that you are with tells you. Most of the guys on the job are good. If you are with an a$$hole (and you'll b able to tell right away ) pay them no mind.

at least where i am at nobody gets "forced" onto a tissue. majority of current tissue holders are about 7 years and under. they are thankful they are steady year round. it took me just under 2 years to get my tissue. i have a nice chunk of the garage beat but its still not worth it to give it up. my tissue, my sanity, my worry and stress free schedule is worth more to me than the truck i would be making 3x a week.

During my training at FBF, upon asking a few instructors, I've learned that signing up for Nights in most likely scenario would get me a more steadier shifts as well as enhance my chance to make the truck. Or so I thought. But in my garage, there are so many Night signees that I have a better chance of making truck by not signing Nights. Is it true in other garages as well?
