I am supposed to be moving into a new apartment soon, however the apartment requires one month rent and one month security, money has been tight , and right now I only have one months rent , I have to be out of my current apartment by friday, and I would like to know if anyone knows a loan place or a place that would be of assistance to me ? Please .
Can you try to find a place perhaps with a roommate where you can afford a month's security deposit?
This, Or renting a room would be the options. You need a roof over your head to live, even if it's not permanent. The reduced rent, Maybe side work combined if you really need to save fast.
Sometimes corners can only be cut so far to save and not skimp on necessities. Good luck, Keep pressing forward, There is always a way...
Unless you have a very good reason for being broke (grand mal seizures preventing you from working), I'm in agreement that it's not a good omen and you should find a cheaper place or a roommate.
Otherwise, try selling any gold jewelry you have or a good watch if you have one to a place that will give you money for the gold content in them, just don't get ripped off by a fence. Most other things have no value these days, unless you happen to have a Monet on your wall.

Ask the landlord if you can pay the security over a few months. Some will let you.
If you have gold and diamonds and want a loan, call the Provident Loan Society. Best pawnbroker in NY.
If you have jewelry and want to sell it, don't sell it to a pawnbroker, scrap gold place, etc. Sell it on eBay and you'll get retail or near retail ... unless it's high end stuff ... then get a reputable jeweler ... they will even come to your house if you want them to.
all i can say is god bless a landlord that takes a tenant on who lives hand to mouth.
That part of my post was wishful thinking on behalf of the OP.
