Im going to be in NYC this weekend and i was looking for some fun things to do, preferably free but not necessary. Ill be stayimg in lower Manhattan and will be on foot most of the time. Ive never been to NY so im super excited!
Also if someone has ideas of cheap places to eat. Pizza, hotdogs, Italian and Chinese food.
First off.. Welcome to NYC!... next... get the hell out of our city.
Lol jk
Free places to visit
Highline
Central Park
Chelsea Galleries
Federal Reserve Bank(but you have to book ahead of time I believe... worth a shot.. google and call them)
New York Public Library
Walk the Brooklyn Bridge
Maybe head over to Roosevelt Island? there's not much to do there but you get an amazing view of the city and the way to get there is pretty dope with the Tramway which again gives you a great view of the city.
Pizza
Johns on Bleecker
Joes which is also near Bleecker
If you walk the Brooklyn Bridge then there's Grimaldi's and Juliana's
Chinese Food
Wo Hop(at least popularity wise.. they have an upstairs and downstairs spot)
Might wanna try to google some Speakeasy bars/restaurants but they may be a bit more expensive but it's always cool.
You can always just go on sites like TimeoutNY and all that to look for things going on this weekend and stuff.
