I have an eligibility interview for public housing, I applied in 2009 and am called in for 2012, I applied with my bf who currently makes $450 a week on 1099 , I am an unemployed student, however I was employed since 2009 and lost my job recently due to conflicting schedules.(just in time right) anyway since 2009 I;ve been shuffling back and forth from homes because I am not allowed to live with my mom. For the past couple of months I reside at my mothers house where I can not live because she has section 8. WE have no proof of address because no one will let us use theirs. MY question is if i do use my moms address will i still qualify or will they make us stay with her, or will she get in trouble. Do i have to get a domestic parnership certificate with my bf also? What if we have no way of getting proof of address or landlord info will they deny us? we'll be forced to go o a shelter

It's gonna be tough.
I think being a student is going to count against you big time.

Where are you living NOW? I'm sure they will demand a current address.

Let us know how it goes.
