My girlfriend just moved in with me, bringing her car. She'll be selling it shortly, but in the meantime we're hoping to navigate the alternate side street parking schedule. I think I have a decent grasp on it, but want to clarify before getting a ticket. Can anyone take a look and let me know if I'm thinking correctly?
If it helps, this is the info from the city's website for my street:
76 West - NO STANDING HOTEL LOADING ZONE (SINGLE ARROW)
Same location as above East - PAY AT MUNI-METER W/ SINGLE ARROW
150 West - NO STANDING EXCEPT COMMERCIAL VEHICLES METERED PARKING 3 HR LIMIT 8AM-7PM MON THRU FRI W/ SINGLE ARROW
313 NO PARKING (SANITATION BROOM SYMBOL)7:30-8AM TUES&FRI <----->
403 NO PARKING (SANITATION BROOM SYMBOL)7:30-8AM TUES&FRI <----->
455 CURB LINE
I'm thinking that it's perfectly fine to park between the street sweep signs as long as it's not those posted times for cleaning, right? And it's completely free? The only people who have to pay are the commercial vehicles that park between the no standing zone at 150 ft west of the curb, to 76 ft west of curb?
I'd appreciate any help,
Virgin parker in the city.
