It really depends on whether they value living in a diverse neighborhood more or having a short commute.
Living in Queens no doubt highly prioritizes diversity, since the commute would be:
OP: MTA train -> NJTransit or PATH (and return trip)
wife: train (and return)
Whereas living in NJ could be:
OP: walking distance
wife: NJTransit/PATH (possibly no MTA train?)
Of course, I have no idea how diverse NJ neighborhoods are, so you'll most likely want to do some research for this second option.
As for Queens neighborhoods, isn't Astoria (or somewhere close to it) Greek-oriented? Or at least it used to be?

My daughter went to HS in Astoria and although there still is a Greek Population it is more diverse now. Astoria is also a nice area with tons of shopping and restaurants and cars are not recommended due to congestion and alternate side of the street parking

I think Astoria and Ridgewood would be good choices.

I will be working in New Jersey doing massage therapy and my wife will be working in Manhattan. since we do not have a car.
What neighborhoods would be suggested for me I am 34 yrs old, biracial with guido lifestyle and my wife is Greek therefore,We prefer a diverse area. Any information will be appreciated.

I work in Queens and I work with a lot of people who commute from NJ. Whichever way the commute is, it's a hassle. Try to stay closer to more public transportation accessable areas. Astoria is one of them. Another question though is do you have kids? If so, you want to make sure you choose an area that has a decent school zone. Greenpoint is another option. I'm originally from Ozone Park but I can tell you that commuting from there is a long haul.

Just watch Jersey Shore for 5 minutes then you'll know.

"guido" is so '80's. People still use that term? Mostly people from Howard Beach and Oz Park used the term guido. The girls were "guidettes" lol

Seconding the Astoria suggestion.
Although somewhere walkable in New Jersey probably does make more sense in this situation... I'm just not familiar enough in NJ to make specific suggestions.

Personally, I wouldn't move to greenpoint with kids or pets, though, on account of the pollution.

ok you are italian .. which has nothing to do about it. guido is a lifestyle that involves maintaining such as working out, being aware of your appearance etc..
