I moved to Mahwah,NJ this week. Today (Friday) I need to catch a flight from LGA airport. Flight is at 7PM. I can start from work (Mahwah,NJ) at 3PM.

Should I use I287 or I95?. Which one is typically less congested?. How much toll would be to travel on I287 or I95?.

Thanks....

i suppose you could use 287 but it might be out of the way mileage wise, tho probably a more pleasant, scenic route. you would take 87/287 cross the Tappan Zee and head down I 87 to the Triboro Br to the Grand Central Pkwy to the appropriate airport exit OR you would stay on 287 to the Sprain/Bronx River/Cross County Pkwy/Hutch south/Grand Central west to the appropriate airport exit

the alternative is to come down south on route 17 and either connect up with route 4 or I 80 to the GWB (I 95 north). take I 87 (Major Deegan) south to the Triboro Br to the Gr Central Pkwy to the appropriate airport exit

hope this helps
