Yes I suppose the Australian ones are influenced by the British ones. I love steak and mushroom!!!
The ones they make here are using all local produce so US beef LOL. They are baked daily too.
Try the chicken and vegetable one too my husband said it was good.
Personally I love Sausage rolls and the ones from Pie Face are a wee bit spicier that the ones back home. I actually prefer them and so did my kids!
They also offer the mashed potato option on top which is actually very British.
Also I want to try the burger place next door. It was really busy so I suppose good too. New York has good food EVERYWHERE! I love the fact I can eat anything here!!

I have all my New Yorker friends trying them out soon too. Also be sure to try a sausage roll also!!
Just to let you know Pie Face is a franchise, they have about 50 Stores in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, the New York Store is the first one to be opened outside the Eastern States of Australia

It would be interesting to know if they changed the menu for the New York Store.

Wandered past Pie Face here in Melbourne a few times.
Just passed Australia Day, where it is sort of obligatory to eat a lamb or two.
As very largely a vego, plus the fact that 20%+ Aussies are obese, I think
I will give P.F. a miss..........

Yep I agree, the vietnamesse lady across the street from my House serves up delicious Pies.

Anyway we should not hijack a thread which is supposed to be about New York City, at least we know their is a Pie face in town, and can go if we ever desire a taste of home.
