I have found out that 2 deaths have occured in my particular building.

1) A husband strangled his wife

2) A baby died in his sleep. Cause of death: Unknown

The building wasn't divided into apartments at the time, however.

I don't really know what to do. I don't smell anything, but I don't feel like I am in harms way either. There is just weird stuff going on that is starting to make me go crazy.
If you are feeling distressed, than obviously staying there is out of the question. My experience involved nothing distressing, it was almost more just interesting, fascinating. Especially when yrs later my friend told me about who it must have been, w/out any knowledge of what we had seen, descriptions anything. I more felt sad, and almost protective, maybe because it was a child. And we helped him go to the light through prayer. We cannot know, what we don't know. but if you are frightened, move. imo

What to do if your apartment is haunted?

1. Check the Yellow Pages under "Exorcist."
2. Contact your nearest local indie filmmaker.
3. Move out.

Pope Benedict performed exorcism in St. Peterís Square in 2009, new book claims

Just skip the yellow pages and contact Pope Benedict, if he performed
exorcism in St. Peter's Square, he can do it at West Village too. The OP
could probably get Father Gabriele Amorth to do the exorcism at worse
case scenario if the Pope's schedule is too busy.

My friend, if I may, I also have another idea.

Why not make a reality show out of it?

The "Real" Haunted Apartment of Manhattan.......

LOL!!!

Father Amorth, the 86-year-old exorcist for the diocese of Rome, has squared off with the Vatican before. He has said the "Harry Potter" books encourage children to believe in black magic, and reportedly believes yoga is "evil."
He once said his favorite film is, you guessed it, "The Exorcist."

Well, if you decide in the end that you do have to leave your apartment, you can always explain it by saying, "The spirit moved me!"

That would be a good name for a moving company. You can already imagine their commercials: "Tell your friends that the Spirit moved you!" (I've just given away a multimillion-dollar concept, haven't I?)

no ouija boards whatsoever. i wou ld try to find a medium that has a good reputation. try to find paranormal state, taps or ghost adventures. lorraine warren and john zaftos too, he's related to lorraine, i think he's her nephew. good luck. pay no attention to this thing and burn sage through your whole house until someone comes to help you. there is prolly a good paranormal group in NYC somewhere. call them first. keep us posted on what's happening!

Lorraine Warren was scarred for life after her attempt to clear up the Amityville House.
