Congratulations! A former coworker of mine abruptly quit to become a cop. It was her dream. I wish you well.

Default Bad boys, bad boys...whatcha gonna do....whatcha gonna do when they come for you.

Hey Tony22, congrats man. Nine times out of ten there is an academy class in July (new fiscal year). I don't know if you run or not but my advice would be to start if you don't.

Good luck bro.

Trust me, the City always says there may not be an academy class. In July the City will find money to put in a class, even if it's a small class.

There are a number of reasons why your son could of been put on hold. The problem most of the time is that an investigator will not tell an applicant the truth on why a candidate is on hold. It's easy for them to say there may not be a class going in. Most classes that are put on hold are the winter classes (January hires). July classes are the biggest because of the new fiscal year.

Thanks and my friend who is a cop says that they will most likely have the class in July. Over 1500 cops will be in the new class.

Thanks
Yes the questionnaire was very long. They needed info about your relatives. Just a lot of questions. I thought the deadline for the questionaire was last week. Maybe it's different for everyone?
