Will you embrace them or stick with Knicks? It would especially be interesting to see what Brooklyn people think.

Being a soon to be Brooklyn resident, i will probably root for the Nets or at least go to a few games. Though I will always be a Portland Blazers fan.

Beginning of May, but we will be moving to Jersey first because a friend is gonna let us rent a room from her while we look for jobs and a place to live this summer.

I will root for the Nets all the way. I'm a native Brooklynite and truly never was a Knicks fan. I think the fact that I'm from Brooklyn, I'm compelled to root for them. After all they were The "New York" Americans" first =)

I've always been a Knicks fan and would never abandon them. IMO, if you're truly a fan of a certain team you don't jump ship. I'm sure there will be plenty of peeps who never really cared about basketball who will be eager to jump on the Nets bandwagon.

LOL getting on the bandwagon for a team that has a horrible record? Usually people cry about the whole bandwagon thing when a team starts to win and people just want that title.

Me on the other hand, like I said, am rooting for the Nets because they will be in my home borough. I think if people are willing to actually support the team (even when they lose) it's fine. Now if some Knicks fans start claiming the Nets when/if they start winning in Brooklyn THAT'S when you call them bandwagoners!
