OWS closed down Oakland harbor. REsult. The real 99% lost valuable working hours so were worse off.

The 1%? Didnt care as they arent in the import-export business.

Now let us see OWS try to kill the various projects to create much needed employment for low skilled workers in places like the Bronx. Fresh Direct being an example. Wouldnt it be nice if they went to Newark instead, or Elizabeth, or Jersey City? Better NJ folks find work than NYers.
Actually much of the 99% just don't have time, we are all busy working and trying to stay afloat.

Are you seriously trying to say that no one wealthy is involved in the import-export business? I find it hard to believe.

They did come to the Jersey Side , and were greeted with neighborhood Resistance....and were kicked out. Are you implying that NJ residents can't find work vs NYers? Have you visited Urban Jersey recently theres over 60 large construction projects underway....that employee at least 15,000 construction works....

I tried to be supportive of OWS, but their "tactics" just make it more difficult for those they claim to represent.

OWS has there own political agenda. Theya re a radical left wing group that is preying on the "99%" with fear & bullying tactics. They use the same excuse minoritys have been using for years that the man is keeping them down that's why they can't work. They are lazy & r looking for the handout. They must be beaten back.

I don't think the 99% are going to put up with there bull**** this time around. OWS heads need to be busted open by the common man like a watermelon. Believe me the cops won't shed a tear & no one will be arrested.

They are thinking that closing Oakland hurts Wall Street and not those who work there.

Do you really think the Goldman Sachs partners cared? More than the stevedores and others who lost pay?

Are you implying that there arent massive numbers of people in Newark, Jersey City and elsewhere who are unemployed?

Interest. Whats the racial composition of those working on those NJ construction sites? I mean other than illegal Mexicans.

Trust me 3,000 jobs for unskilled workers will be welcomed anywhere in the USA these days.

I can well imagine the hipsters and corrupt union bosses were the ones who think they prevented Fresh Direct, when the mayors of depressed NJ cities, who want to put their people to work, think otherwise.

Why dont you talk to the mayors of those cities. They will tell you about large numbers of unemployed people.

Not every one has the trust fund account that you obviously have.

Now who works on those construction sites. Yes I know legions of African American and Hispanic males, right?

I went down there a few times. And, believe it or not, I work. I would be very surprised if I ever recoup all the money I've paid in taxes from benefits, or as you call them, "handouts."

"Common man"? More like thug, sir. This is still the USA, not Singapore.
