Since I don't think it's useful to keep adding onto threads that are pages long, I'm starting anew apropos of the "What's next for OWS?"

In case you didn't see, there was a lengthy article in the NYT (link below). I'm guessing things will really snowball as the election campaigning intensifies.

Occupy Movement Regroups, Preparing for Its Next Phase
Far from dissipating, groups around the country say they are preparing for a new phase of larger marches and strikes this spring that they hope will rebuild momentum and cast an even brighter glare on inequality and corporate greed.

Occupy Wall Street regrouping for spring

No doubt. Just like Football or Baseball the revolution is seasonal.

Yes, exactly. Occupy Wall Street doesn't like cold weather. You have to wonder if the 1% (or, for that matter, the 99%) takes note of this.

Nope. I paid way too much for my bed to not sleep in it every night!

If Occupy flares up again around the elections (I'm sure it will), it will hurt the Dems more than the Republicans.

I don't think so Bill.

Gil Scott Heron was wrong. The Revolution Will Be Televised!

Depends on the weather. Also, many of them will probably be preparing for their trips home for Thanksgiving.

Funny thing though. Those who have to work for a living, and not depend on funds from daddy and living on a friend's couch, don't have time for their nonsense.

OWS closed down Oakland harbor. REsult. The real 99% lost valuable working hours so were worse off.

The 1%? Didnt care as they arent in the import-export business.

Now let us see OWS try to kill the various projects to create much needed employment for low skilled workers in places like the Bronx. Fresh Direct being an example. Wouldnt it be nice if they went to Newark instead, or Elizabeth, or Jersey City? Better NJ folks find work than NYers.
