I've always said Germany was the only other country I could ever live in. I traveled there a lot when I was in my early twenties and loved every minute of it.

For me, getting out had the exact opposite effect: I can't wait to leave for good now! I lived in another state for 4 years, couldn't wait to get back here at the time, but roughly two years later and ever since, I've wanted nothing more than to move back there. A few more years...
Becoming an adult and quickly learning how hard one has to work to live here, while not really getting anything special for it (IMO), is a rude awakening. And the sad part is, I make great money, but it really doesn't matter here.
