The 'far' southeastern corner of NYC, geographically speaking. And yes, there are a Hasidic population in Far Rockaway, which many NYers are not aware about.

I've always thought the Rockaways (with Broad Channel) should be a borough of it's own. With some big interest and investment, a lot of minds formulating ideas, the Rockaways can make a more interesting place in the future. It has some nice space for development.

most of those are not chasdiedim they're usually litvish.

Okay guessing by your name that you are probably right. You are probably much more familiar than me. I looked up litvish. They dress similarly to Hassidics. To me I saw the clothes and thought hassidic.

Rocakaway Beach / Park is alright. Far Rockaway is horrible in places, particularly around Edgemere.
