WTC's Other Twin of Sister Tower Still Standing Tall (Photos I shot)
When I first saw this building in Tulsa my jaw literally dropped. It's a bit creepy when you see it in person. I feel chills go up my spine every time I pass through there. BOK Tower was designed and built with the same "exact" materials that were used for the WTC in New York only about half the size at 52 stories to scale. The only surviving tower out of the 3 designed by Architect Minoru Yamasak. If you miss the WTC I highly recommend (not for everyone of course) taking a trip to Tulsa. My question to anyone in the New York area I was wondering if any of you have seen the WTC's sister tower in Tulsa?
Well, here it is folks
BOK Tower the other twin sister of World Trade Center

I don't understand the jaw dropping. It looks sort of similar to WTC but that's about it.Maybe it's because all the majesty is kind of lost on such a small replica.
I do sort of miss the WTC towers but I'm not about to go to Tulsa to see something like this.

In case anyone's wondering, Tulsa's murder rate is double New York City's.
And yea, it does look like the WTC, but I dunno if I would have thought of it when looking at it.

Can you imagine having the BOK tower in NY people would probably freak. I myself miss WTC. To me I think it is a perfect monument for those who died on 911. The BOK Tower still standing tall for it's other fallen twin sisters. A symbolic piece of history to remember those who were not forgotten.

Yamazaki's Century Plaza Towers in Los Angeles are also similar to the WTC, but they are a pair. They were completed in the early 1970s, just after the WTC, but are 44-stories tall, though the footprints are different than the WTC towers. They also evoke the WTC, albeit on a smaller scale.

Why did the OP think anything related to Tulsa would be received with even a slight bit of warmth in the NYC forum?
Don't you know the stunt NYC puts on for outsiders? Don't you recognize obnoxious NYC provincialism?

There aren't many people in NYC that aware of WTC's other twin sister building that's why I revealed it. You may not appreciate the design but I'm willing to bet there are some in NYC who do and miss the twin towers. If the BOK Tower suddenly appeared in Manhattan many people would walk up towards it just to check it out. Unfortunately, the the tower would probably trigger flash backs but it does exist for those who miss the WTC for all to see. Just go to Tulsa to see it for yourself.
I think it would be a good idea for those who are still trying to heal and over come their 911 past. Going to this tower I think would be good therapy to help over come the past. I'm just trying to help.
