Default Ads like this on craigslist- legit?

What's the catch? Seems like a pretty nice setup for a share. Seems like there are tons of similar ads on craigslist across Manhattan.

Moderator cut: No links with less than 10 unrelated posts, per Terms of Service.

It's certainly possible. I believe no fee means that the landlord is paying the real estate broker's fee instead of the apartment seeker.

I've also heard that a lot of places are using incentives to get apartment transactions completed quicker.

Moderator cut: Not a generic MLS site - Links to specific agents/brokerages are prohibited.

That's the agent who listed. Perhaps go through his listings and see what else he has if anything is the same or similar.

There are a lot of scams on craigslist all around, especially in the apartments and jobs sections.

Usually if something sounds too good to be true, it is.

This particular listing looks like it could be legit, but it only says it's in Gramercy. Also doesn't list pricing.

It looks fairly big by NYC standards, but I imagine you're going to be paying a pretty penny for that place, anyway.
