Sabrosura in Castle Hill. Fusion Dominican and Chinese place. Chinese staff is fluent in Spanish. Place is good though not as good as before since the Chef left and is a little greasy.

Also, that chef started a place called Sabor Latino on Castle Hill right up the street and apparently it's better, never have been there before.

Various City Island places for good fried seafood.

Emilia's Italian in Little Italy was OK,but the canoli place(forgot the name) on the corner was awesome.

Was there last week. Pigged out. It's a small place, very traditional Mexican hole in the wall decor - which for me makes it my kind of place.

Tacos for $3.00 were the bomb. Shrimp Fajita was excellent. The homemade fried tortilla chips and guacamole were slammin'! The only drawback were the rice and beans. Beans were ok. Rice was plain white. I usually like a little color to my food. Had two very excellent horchatas. Service was good and simple.

Sabrosura is still good. Ive never had a bad meal there. I was there just last week. Its a latin Chinese mix so your gonna get some grease. I recommend the mojito chargrilled meat sampler and the chofan rice dishes. The mofongo aint bad either although ive had better. They are very liberal with the garlic there so be aware if thats a problem for you. It can get real crowded on fridays and weekends if you go during those times your gonna be waiting 20 mins to half hour to get seat. One bad thing ive noticed is that if you order for pickup during the peak times they skimp on the food!
