This picture posted by makossa is also in the book SUBWAY ART. It's the 2/5 train at 174th street in 1982 or 1983.

Now that's more like it!
I was born in the early 80's in the Bronx and I never knew the trains had THAT MUCH crap on them! I was shocked when I saw those pics

Anyway, keep on posting those great pics guys!
