For sure! I never believe a news story in the Post until it's verified by a reputable mainstream media outlet elsewhere.

So then the governemt is going to establiish MINIMUM pricing for bar drinks?
Did they pass a constitutional amendment I haven't heard about?

I had to laugh at this:

Bloomberg was furious with Farley when the proposal was reported because he was never told about it, sources said. Hizzoner quickly nixed the scheme. Because of this, a source said, Farley is proceeding very cautiously with plans to end happy hour, which would require a change to state law.

Of course this city's wonderful mayor got peeved. He didn't think of it HIMSELF. Everyone has the right to choose how they want to live their lives whether it be by smoking, drinking or eating fast food and drinking soda. Coulda sworn this was a free country.
