I read about the Pinacle Group in one of the recent postings here and it was very, very frightening. Does anyone have any idea of a website that lists the properties that Pinacle Group owns, particularly in Queens and Brooklyn?

They do have a webpage, but it doesn't seem to list their properties. Here it is: Pinnacle Group International

I found this article about Pinnacle Group on the NY Times webpage: http://www.nytimes.com/2006/09/03/ny...3pinnacle.html

What is so scary?

Lots of these people do not pay their rent, and use every means possible to delay payment.

Lots of them are also illegal immigrants who have no entitlement to the apartments anyways.

I wouldn't make such sweeping generalizations like that until I hear both sides of this controversy and have seen the apartments.

Maybe Pinnacle has targeted people who are undeserving, but places like washington heights, inwood, and those other places mentioned in the article has lots of people I have generalized.

Default Reason for my concern re Pinnacle Group

I'm a mature, semi-retired, person and the current real-estate situation is scary to me because of my limited income. Right now, with my husband's and my Social Security, we can manage our rent but, if something should happen to him (he's much older than I am) I would have to move to a much cheaper apartment. I don't want to have to move to a bad area and it seems like all the moderately priced apartments are now being turned into condos or the rents are going through the roof.

Default buy a converted condo

I planned to buy a condo in Manhattan and found several converted condo owned and managed by Pinnacle Group. Example: riverside DR Manhattan. I browsed web and found a lot of negative information about Pinnacle Group especially financially. I am a little concern. Any advise is welcome.
Thank you in advance.
