Once long ago this was a great place to live, but mgmt has wasted money and allowed this place to deteriorate to the point of no return. And to make things worse is the people who still live here are suffering. We pay high maintenance and our service are substandard. Here are some examples of what I am talking about; 1. most of us pay maintenance ranging from $900- $1500 monthly ( electricity not included, repairs such as clogged sink or toilet not included either)and keep in mind these figures are based on the number of shares you own. 2. Extremely poor communication between board members and tenants unless you are family and friends of board members. 3. board members including family/ friends are allowed to purchase apts. at lowere costs and with out paying the application fee that others have to pay. 4. board members including friends/ family members allowing themselves to own more than one apt at any given time and renting other purchased apts, but not allowing other cooperative owners to do so. 5. sending out letters to tenants with lies and threats if 311 is called. 6. grounds are not kept up ( trees need to be pruned, grass to be cut and seeded, bushes need to be trimmed), structures not kept up ( brick needs pointing, sidewalks cracked, gutters are broken are need replacement and some to be cleaned). Basically the board members and mgmt office is corrupt and insensitive to the needs of the tenants. They raise our maintenance making it impossible to sell even if you have upgraded your apt. And the curb appeal is more like curb side hell. Parkway Village board members make it so that the place looks horrible so that no one will buy it! It's my belief that they are purposely trying to bankrupt the co-op for their own agenda and put the current tenants onto the street. So sad since some of the board members works for the city with helping to place homeless families. We're going to be homeless to at the rate they are going. The high maintenance is bleeding the tenants dry!
