Can anyone who has experience filing an appeal for affordable housing to the developer, not the state, in 80/20 housing please tell me about the process. Please dont include all the negatives and that no one cares, and there is no chance. There is always a chance.

I already know it will be hard and an uphill battle, bBut I would appreciate if someone can give me some positive and practicle advice on appealing to the developer.

Thank you so much.

Brace yourself for the strong possibility of hearing a recurring response. Something like: "Sir, we encourage you to apply for other buildings. Plenty of fish in the sea."

Personally, I'd disagree with the word 'plenty', but that type of response I would assume is to encourage people to apply to different neighborhoods/boroughs and to not fall in love with one specific building or area. Whatever your strategy, keep your chin up.
