I'm new to the area and looking for discount designer men's store where I can purchase dress shirts and accessories in Manhattan.

So far, I've found Loehman's and Century 21 to be fairly good.

Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Sometimes I can find good bargains on nice things at Daffy's, and there are several of those around town, including a new one near Times Square on 44th St IIRC, one at one of the vertical malls at Herald Square, and one on W 57th St. But Google it and there may be one closer to where you are.

I suggest JCPenney at the Manhattan Mall on West 32nd Street.

I am a huge fan of Uniqlo, if you are on the slim side, their clothes fit better and they have very modern dress clothes and the best part is their prices are really reasonable to down right cheap for young designer clothes.

I go to Lord and Taylor pretty often. Its a bit more than Macy's but with 10% of the people and much easier to find things.

Uniqlo have good winter clothing that is uniquely formulated to keep heat in. As mentioned their sizes tend to run small. But the quality is good and the prices are reasonably.

The store over by the Empire State Building is my favorite because it is spacious, has everything, and doesn't feel overly crowded like the other two.

I'm joining in the chorus recommending Uniqlo, it can't be beat for cheap basics like plan dress shirts, t-shirts, etc.
