I miss passing notes and letters between my best friends in school. It's not the same as texting where you don't get the feeling of opening up a gift when you open up a folded note. I used to do silly stuff like fry eggs on the sidewalk whenever the temps reach past 100ºF just for cheap thrills. Sneaking out at night was really exciting as a teen, but as an adult I'll groan and say "but it's too late for that."
My social circle got boring after age 30. Especially the married ones who talk about what their kids ate for breakfast, how take the shortest route to the city, which bank offers free checking, blah blah blah. It's not a thrill to talk to the young ones too. I got a bunch of 20 something cousins who only talk about the latest model of their iPhone, Galaxy, apps, facebook updates. When I say, "hey did you know they discovered a planet made of diamond?" I get blank stares.
