Yes, but mostly in high poverty sections of major cities. I think people already realize that...

We need some of those kind of police in Orlando.......The cops down here are too busy writing J-walking tickets and speeding tickets too fight real crimes...these cops are told by "smart" city leaders where and what they need to patrol....LOL...It's a frikin joke down here....they need some cops here in groups like up there and cops that dont take sh$#@ from a crowd like up there.........that is the big difference of Florida and NYC.....I saw a crapload of cops in those videos u posted...the departments down here dont have enough police to do that unless there is a bomb at the airport or something.......its not all the cops faults though....its mostly thier bosses and not enough money to get new cops in our neighborhoods......i assume you have attacks on police alot too ........at least there are more cops in groups up there if that happens......i like the kids in that first video laughing at the criminal....i wish i had some videos of the police doing thier jobs here

Well I did find some vids the criminals/onlookers shot.

It may look like all they do is write tickets, but they do a lot more then that. Blame the city for ticket quotas.
When I go down to Orlando I see cars flying around lights flashing. I know they are putting in work. We have a larger dept but we also have more people, and even we are very strained. Orlando allocates their resources according to how they need them as well.
Similar videos out for Orlando if you look. Smaller city, less people/crime so you there will be less videos out though. Make a thread on the Orlando board with the videos off youtube if you want.

I enjoyed his performance. Also who is that song originally by? I can't remember.
Ive actually seen most of these. Being that I wanna be a sociologist and NYC is the biggest city in the US I have done alot of research. I enjoy watching them.
