Those are it. For the second link you have to wait about a minute and a half before they speak about the shooting on Wilson and Hancock. There was also a case recently a couple of blocks away from where kpopryan would be moving where an innocent 14 year old kid was shot in the head in a case of mistaken identity. The kid is now braindead at Brookdale hospital. This happened on Evergreen and Cornelia which is the block right before Jefferson ave.

All of these incidences and much more happened roughly within a 10 block radius over the past 5 days. That area is arguably the worst Bushwick has to offer...

It's true that most of the shootouts, murders, and violent crime that you see is due to gang problems but in that area especially muggings, grand larcenies and burglaries are a major problem... If you're prepared to deal with this harsh reality then by all means but I just hope you're not expecting the area to become anything remotely similar to a Williamsburg or even Harlem... A number of people that bought into the area and believed the hype before the bubble burst unfortunately had to swallow the losses and decided to either move or stay for the long term hoping and praying things would improve...

I hope you have done enough research on the area because IMO Woodhaven is a FAR better option given the choices than Bushwick. If you're looking for that diverse working class environment on a cheap budget, Woodhaven is definitely the place for you. Have you already put a down payment on the place?

No we haven't we just offered a price for the house . It's big but the area is just very fishy. Yes we do like the working class negborhood it just feels a different atmosphere when in woodhaven. But. My parents say its far from their work an living in bushwick will make it closer but ugh. I'm the youngest what do they care lol
